I spent three years in art school before apprenticing under Jake Bertelsen of Bertelsen Art & Tattoo in Northwest Montana. I then went on to start and run Stick 'n Spoke Tattoo, a small private studio servicing a consistent client base in realizing custom tattoos. Over thousands of hours of practice, I've become a confident illustrator and tattooer, and am passionate about creating work with artistic integrity and longevity over time. I was also responsible for Sweaty Possum, a now discontinued side project producing satirical digital smut illustrations. After tattooing for five years in Montana, I've tattooed a lot of fish, but believe it or not I can actually tattoo other things. My current focus is on developing my American Traditional portfolio, and taking on large scale projects with bold lines and excellent fit and flow to the client's body.
